I sat down with Gus to better understand her experience as a Cleaning Business Mentor Academy Student .

How long have you been in the cleaning industry?

February 2021 is when I got my first residential client.

What challenges were you facing in your business before joining the course?

Scaling, hiring, training, pricing, quality control, lack of guidance and no roadmap with achievable goals

What made you decide to enroll in How to Start a Full-Service Cleaning Business?

I came across Carolyn on a podcast from AJ Simmons. I watched the entire thing and I felt a little odd about a guy mentoring me. I feel like I connect better with women. After seeing the podcast I really liked how Carolyn spoke and she seemed personable and someone i’d like to add to my network. She knew exactly what she was talking about, had the track record to prove it, and had a lot of free helpful content on her pages.

What did you find most helpful about the course?

The course was great but it wasn’t until I started having calls with her that really took my business to the next level. She literally addressed all my questions I had and held me accountable which I say helped me grow my business.

As you progressed through the course, what specific tools, strategies, or insights did you find most valuable?

I really liked Zenmaid and also how everything in the course was a step by step showing you what to do from the moment you decide you want to start a cleaning company.

What changes have you seen in your cleaning business since completing the course?

 At first, I was stuck doing all of the cleaning. After meeting with carolyn and going through her course I ended up replacing myself with other cleaners and now I only clean about 5% of the time. I’ve also consistently surpassed 10k/mo in revenue thanks to the course and Carolyn’s mentorship.

How has the course helped you with setting up your business systems and processes?

It helped me get to a point where I don’t have to be doing as much work in the business and actually work on my business. It filled the gap of what I was missing in order to scale my business.

Would you recommend this course to other aspiring or current cleaning business owners? Why?

Hell Yeah! I definitely recommend investing in this course because it has honestly changed my life. I can profit up to about 3k/week while just staying in bed and working on my own time.

What advice would you give to someone considering enrolling in this course?

Just do it. Figure out how to come up with the funds for this investment. Use a credit card, get a loan, drive for uber and lyft or doordash but purchase this course. I made a 140% return on my investment with this course. I personally used a credit card to purchase this course and i do not regret it one bit.

Any additional thoughts or feedback about the course or your experience?

I would highly recommend purchasing this course but also purchasing a few calls with carolyn so she can address any questions you have. The course is a great foundation but what helped me even more was the mentorship calls.
